I use a disposable pipette , and a taller amber bottle with emulsion sitting in a hot water bath , insert pipette and only suck fluid from the very bottom of bottle , then touch glass plate w pipette tip and then meter out … no bubbles if done smoothly..

Hey u guys update to long history these bubbles . The. Current way to do this is under water , yes i said that UNDERWATER, don’t put on the scuba gear and jump in the pool ..lol but seriously use clean filtered water, do this in at least a pretty clean environment . From what I remember, I had to drop the amount of amdi in the sensitizing bath and also added a bit of soap. I was shooting in green back then so wanted as much dichromate in the film as possible. If your using blue light should work w out crystals , dilute your sensitizing bath a bit..

Sure that make some sense, when there was movement between the two plates , the image would naturally have banding , if the bands ran left to right , there’s your slit(s) Dinesh !

Hold on here! as the prior made copies come out quite consistent as pictured first, I was present during recording and allowed less than 10 minutes settle time on the one that went rainbow .. plus I can see under laser movement between the two plates . I’ll try and get a movie of it …I think will ex...
