Please Contribute to this list of active holography

Post by ConservationTech »

Hi Everyone,

Coming from the collection space. I think it will be useful for museum professionals to understand their resources as they begin to care for holograms in their collections.

Their resources being: living and practicing holographers, holographic artists and artists who work with holographers.

My current list of alive and or active resources:
Betsy Connors, ACME holo
Jeanne Benton
E.Wesly and Sons Studios
Robert Hess, Laser History Museum and Studio
Matthew Schreiber
Deanna Lawson
Paula Dawson
Dennis Slafer

Frank Stella
James Turrell
Dorothea Rockburne

https://holocenter.org/artist Who on the list is still available?

I could name more from my historical research but it is unclear to me their working status...

Please drop as many names as you can below! Including your own!

I am still alive and kicking and making holograms. I relocated from Australia to France in 2018 to the Lot Valley in the south west of France.
A one man show is scheduled for mid 2025 which will highlight new holograms and include oldies such as the 9 metre 'I Dreamt I Had Something To Say' seen at the 2009 Shenzhen ISDH and perhaps the 1 kilometre 'Hololujah' about which I gave a presentation at the 2012 MIT ISDH. There is a YouTube of this presentation. My exhibition will also include paintings and photography.
