First of all, hello everybody. I'm new to the group and looking to make my first hologram. I plan on making my own silver halide plates, but I am having a hard time finding a start to finish procedure. There is an excellent youtube video on DCG, start to finish, but I don't want to really mess with chromium.

If you don't want to read the holowiki page, the process in essence is, you are mixing gelatin with AgNO3, adhering it to the glass plate, washing, cooling, washing with (pinacyanol chloride, methanol, and LiBr), washing again, and then finally sensitizing with ascorbic acid and Na2Co3, then drying.
Here is where I am having issues. At this point the post says you are ready to make your hologram. After exposing the plate to the laser to create the image, is there no post processing that needs to occur? Sorry, I know this is quite a noob question. -Thanks, Ryan
