I want to resell OBIS cores

Post by whoiswei »

I currently have the following available: 532, 488, 561, 505, 552, and 594. The 488 is selling for $100, the 561 for $400, and the others are $300. They are all 20mW (I can only guarantee 20mW, as the seller seems to ship them randomly). I'm also selling my custom-built DIY drivers for $60. Items ship from China, and the buyer is responsible for shipping costs. Would anyone buy them at these prices?

By the way, if you purchase the laser and my custom-built control module together, I can pre-tune the parameters for you. I will also include a free heatsink and a 12706 TEC, and assemble them with the OBIS core module for you.

使用ai翻译,中文原文如下
对了,如果你同时购买了激光器和我自制的控制模块,我可以为你把参数大致调好,并且送你一个散热片和一个12706 tec并帮你把它们和obis core模块装配在一起

Unfortunately,it do not have these two wavelengths.

So if these units will only do like 20mw , this is a much lower output compared to the PL-530 50-75mw ?

Yes, their output power is indeed much lower. However, its advantages lie in its relatively low price, a more complete OPSL optical path structure (unlike the more simplified design of the PL530), and a wider selection of wavelengths. These include rare wavelengths such as 594 nm and 552 nm, as well as 488 nm, whose efficiency in DCG materials can be several times higher than that of 532 nm.

I have two pieces of news to share with everyone today: one bad, and one good.
The bad news is that due to price increases from my upstream suppliers, I am forced to raise my prices as well. The 488 is now priced at $200, the 561 at $450, and all remaining models are $350.
The good news is that I have successfully deciphered the EEPROM data for the OBIS Core. This means I no longer have to rely on blind trial and error to figure out the optimal operating range for each individual module. Better yet, this breakthrough enables me to build driver boards that match—or even surpass—the performance of the original factory boards.
