However, its advantages lie in its relatively low price, a more complete OPSL optical path structure (unlike the more simplified design of the PL530), and a wider selection of wavelengths. The good news is that I have successfully deciphered the EEPROM data for the OBIS Core. This means I no longer have to rely on blind trial and error to figure out the optimal operating range for each individual module. Better yet, this breakthrough enables me to build driver boards that match—or even surpass—the performance of the original factory boards.
